Gerasimos Skiadaresis is a Greek actor known for his extensive work in film, television, and theater.
He gained wide popularity through his comedic role as “Fatseas” in the long-running Greek TV series To kafe tis Haras (2003). Throughout his career, he has appeared in a wide range of productions, including Loufa kai parallagi (1984), Landscape in the Mist (1988), Captain Corelli’s Mandolin (2001), Bank Bang (2008), and Man of God (2021). In 1987, his performance in O kloios (1987) earned him a special mention at the Thessaloniki Film Festival.
He continues to work actively across stage and screen and is recognized for his versatility and long-standing contribution to Greek cinema and television.
Gerasimos Skiadaresis is now bringing his talent to Canadian audiences with the award-winning play OFF Syllabus (Εκτός Ύλης) by playwright Kostas Leimonis and director Konstantina Nikolaidi — a sharp social satire that has captivated audiences across Greece. His performance offers Canadian theatre-goers the unique opportunity to experience one of Greece’s most important contemporary actors live on stage.
