Description
Join the Canadian Hellenic Medical Society for an educational and engaging event on February 5th, 2026!
Our goal is to move beyond the data and into your clinic. We’ll be using a case-based approach to discuss how to select, initiate, and manage these therapies to achieve meaningful outcomes for your patients with type 2 diabetes. We will also look at the most recently published data with these agents and how they can apply to patients you see in practice. Following the talk, dinner service will commence.
Program Learning Objectives:
- Select appropriate GIP/GLP-1 RA or GLP-1 RA therapy for type 2 diabetes based on patient characteristics and cardiovascular risk.
- Apply CVOT data to optimize GIP/GLP-1 RA and GLP-1 RA therapy selection for patients with high CV risk and type 2 diabetes.
- Select evidence-based strategies to manage common adverse effects for patients with type 2 diabetes.
