The Irida Art Group of the Greek Community of Toronto is proud to bring you this year’s theatre production, “Neos Xana – Young Again”, a comedy, this new play is written and directed by the GCT’s very own, Greg Terzakis.
Synopsis:
A lonely, miserable businessman faces serious health problems and realizes that his life has passed very fast without having really enjoyed it. He succeeds in becoming young again but this time in a different fashion. He displays romance of a higher level and great generosity in the hope of winning the heart of the beautiful Hara, a very young woman, whom he has lusted for years but hesitated to confess his love for due to his age and health complications. Soon he will understand that youth alone is not enough to make someone happy…
This original comedy is paired with the music of Manos Hatzidakis and the “all-time retro” hits of very important singers of the last century, brought to you by featured guests Atempo GK, a local music band, who will be performing live!
About the GCT’s Art Group “Irida”:
Irida Art Group is the name of the GCT art group whose mission is to preserve and promote Hellenism and the Hellenic culture through the arts. This is Irida Art Group’s 5th theatre production. In the past 4 productions, more than 40 community artists have been involved and have put on theatre productions for over 1000 audience members. With your support, we hope to inspire members of the GCT and the Greater Toronto Area to enjoy art in the form of theatre and we are sure that this year’s comedy will do just that!
The proceeds from this theatre production will go towards the Cultural Department of the GCT and will support theatre productions next year and in years to come.
