Description
Meat – GIFFT Toronto
The Greek drama “Meat” follows a family’s unravelling when a murder, committed on the eve of the patriarch’s new butcher shop opening, forces the family into a moral crisis. The son, Pavlos, kills the neighbour who is encroaching on the family’s land, and the sole witness is Christos, an Albanian immigrant whom Takis has raised. Takis must decide who to protect, his son or the young man he has raised, as the truth is concealed.

Alone
In the deep silence of the frontier, Mary lies wounded and isolated in a crumbling cabin. As infection spreads and fever takes hold, the line between reality and nightmare begins to blur. Unseen monsters stalk the woods — or is it madness clawing its way out from within? Trapped by snow, silence, and her own mind, Mary must confront the most terrifying threat of all — herself.
Director: Ken Nemetchek
