In 1949, Giannis, the son of a rebel, is six years old when he is torn from his natural environment and deported to the Childcare Cities, educational camps set up during the Greek Civil War, a world where ideas and desires are manipulated.
His dreams turn into nightmares, and a dark feeling for his father slowly inhabits his heart. It’s only as an adult that he manages to redefine his existence and decides to go and meet his father … The true story of writer Giannis Atzakas.
